Still Remains - Stay Captive

Here is the song Stay Captive off of the album The Serpent from Still Remains. Great song, and one of the few from Still Remains that isn't overly growly.

Devil Driver - I Could Care Less

Here is I Could Care Less from the band Devil Driver. This is off of the umpteenth Self Titled album I've seen. If your in a band, just don't do it, pick something original please. Thank You.

Rammstein - Du Hast

Here is Du Hast off of Rammstein's 1998 album Sehnsucht. If you haven't picked it up yet Rammstein is a band from Germany, and they really don't give a damn about what language they speak in America. The majority of their songs are in German and that makes for an interesting listening experience.

Flaw - Payback

Here is the song Payback off of Flaw's album: Through the Eyes. The only flaw here in my mind is the few lighter parts.

Revelation Theory - Slowburn

Here is Slowburn from the band Revelation Theory off of the album Truth is Currency. As far as song intro's go, this one just about takes the cake.

This is Duality, my favorite song from Slipknot. This is off of their 2004 album: Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses. Enjoy... or else.

10 Years - Wasteland

Here is Wasteland from 10 Years off of their album: The Autumn Effect . A little more sombre and slow, but I'll have something faster for tomorrow.

Toni Iommi - Dopamine

Here is Dopamine from Toni Iommi, with Glenn Hughes on vocals, off of his album: Fused.

Within Temptation - What Have You Done

What Have You Done from Within Temptation off of the album The Heart of Everything. From a little searching this seems to be the only 'decent' song in my opinion. A lot of the other songs from this band are slower and softer.

Godsmack - The Enemy

Here is The Enemy off of Godsmack's latest album: IV. Speak off of this album is a great song as well, but the remainder of the album seems pretty plain to me. To top it off, this isn't the only song with a title: 'Enemy', Sevendust beat them to it.

Heres the title track off of the new album Famous from Puddle of Mudd. This one is due out early October, bit of a catchy tune if you ask me.

Cypress Hill - Rock Superstar

Though not so much rock as it is rap its still a great heavy song. Just close your eyes and pretend its rap rock. This is Rock Superstar off of Skull & Bones from Cypress Hill. Crank it up!

Black Stone Cherry - Lonely Train

Lonely Train by Black Stone Cherry off of their Self-Titled album. Catchy tune!

Onesidezero - New World Order

This is New World Order off of the album Is This Room Getting Smaller by Onesidezero. That disc is from 2001, but it looks like they had a new one came out this past June. Check it out.

In Flames - Dead End

Here is Dead End by In Flames off of their disc Come Clarity. I like the dual vocals in this song, in general I think as long as they're done well dual vocals in hard rock and metal songs often sound great. What does everyone else think?

I know I already did a Seether song this month, but this one was too good to pass up! Fake It, the first single off of Seether's new album Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces which is due out in late October. So new the cd isn't even on Amazon yet! Its a catchy tune, enjoy!

Flyleaf - I'm So Sick

Heres the song I'm So Sick off of the Self-Titled album from Flyleaf. Great song, decent band, and apparently they're Christian rock too, who would have thought?

I'm quite surprised that I haven't posted this song yet, it is one of my favorites. The song is happy from Mudvayne off of their album, Lost and Found. A good number of the other songs on the album are good in my opinion too. Check out that album.

Seether - Fine Again

Here is Seether's Fine Again off of the album, Disclaimer from 2002. This song has quite the catchy refrain. You will also notice that Shaun Morgan(The Lead Singer) doesn't yet look like a scumbag in this video. That is all.

Trapt's Stand Up off of their album Someone In Control. The refrain is angry and catchy, there isn't too much else you need in a good song.

The Light off of Children of Chaos by Soulidium. This video is a pretty creepy music video. This song is part of the Hostel 2 sound track, and for that reason the video is based off of that movie.

Here is a somewhat older song from Korn. Coming Undone off of the album See You On The Other Side. If you like this one, you should also check out their new album Untitled. Enjoy.

Silent Civilian - Rebirth of the Temple

From what I hear the singer from this band is the same as the old singer for Spineshank. The song is Rebirth of the Temple off of the album of the same name. Give it a listen.

Spineshank - Smothered

This is one of my favorite band-made music videos out there. The song is Smothered by Spineshank, off of the album Self-Destructive Pattern. I own this disc, and a lot of the songs are great, definately a recommended buy.

Killswitch Engage - My Curse

This one is off of the latest album from Killswitch Engage, As Daylight Dies. Give it a listen, besides, any band with a name this one can't be too bad.

Soilwork - Distance

I'm going to turn things up for the next one, Distance from Soilwork, off of their cd Stabbing The Drama. I just found these guys a few weeks ago when surfing the web, and I found this song yesterday when working on building up my collection of future songs to post here. Distance has a lot of 'screaming/growling' in it, but I think its still at a tasteful level. I hope you enjoy.

Egypt Central - Over And Under

Heres a song from a lesser known band, Egypt Central. I don't know much about the band, but here is what I've picked up. They are out of Memphis Tennessee, and have been signed and dropped by at least one significant label. You can get more on their story here. If you like them check out their Self Titled album, and give them some support.

System of a Down - Chop Suey

Chop Suey, off of the album Toxicity by System of a Down. This is probably my favorite song from System of a Down. The music this band produces is often weird, experimental, or political, but at least at the surface this song doesn't have any of the frills that can take away the enjoyability of the music. Listen, and like.

Godsmack - I Stand Alone

Godsmack's I Stand Alone is a great song, and really should be part of any hard rock playlist, and is another one of those good songs with momentum that are great for movies. This is the original video, based around the movie Scorpion King, which this song is part of the sound track for. The song is off of the album Faceless, which is definitely one of Godsmack's better albums.

Adema - Immortal

The song in this video, Immortal, is off of the EP Insomniac's Dream The video consists entirely of clips of the action from the Last Samurai, probably the only movie I can respect Tom Cruise for, but thats another story.

Trust Company - Downfall

Downfall from Trust Company, off of the album The Lonely Position of Neutral. This song has a great intro too, check it out.
